In 1873 the size of the Quinault Reservation was increased from 10,000 acres to 220,000.
The additional acreage was allotted to the “Fish Eating Indians on the Pacific Coast”. These people include the Chehalis, Chinook, Cowlitz, Hoh, Ozette, Queets, Quileute, Quinault and Shoalwater Bay.
AA & AT promotes and informs Indian allottees of the Quinault reservation about their rights, benefits, responsibilities and cultural heritage associated with their trust allotments on the reservation. It also provides Indian allottees (and their prospective heirs) a forum for communication and understanding between themselves and other interested groups and/or governmental entities. AA & AT seeks to represent the collective best interests of all Indian allottees of the Quinault reservation and their prospective heirs regardless of their tribal affiliation or lack thereof.
Meetings are held on the third Saturday of the month at the Chehalis Tribal Senior Center.
